Kinetics Massage Therapies Terms and Conditions
Kinetics Massage Therapies will be referred to as Kinetics Massage for the purpose of the document
Appointments:
All appointments start on the clients arrival and finish at the scheduled time. Appointments may include administration, discussion and feedback.
Treatments will only be conducted if Kinetics Massage deems the treatment safe for the client to receive.
GP/Consultant permission may be required before treatments can be provided, if you are unsure as to whether you may require your GP's permission please discuss any concerns prior to booking.

Booking and Cancellation policy:
A booking is preliminarily confirmed once Kinetics Massage and the client have both agreed a date, time, duration and location for a treatment.
All clients are required to pay for appointments in full at time of booking – if full payment is not received within 24 hours of the preliminary booking, then the slot will be opened back up, potentially resulting in no appointment.
Kinetics Massage is not required to send appointment reminders.
Kinetics Massage is not obligated to reschedule any appointment that the client cannot attend.
If the client is late for an appointment Kinetics Massage have the right to cancel the treatment- If an appointment goes ahead ,no additional time will be given for appointment. The appointment will end as originally scheduled, and the full fee will be payable.
Cancellation Threshold
From time of booking up to 48 hours prior to appointment = 50% of the total price will be refunded.
Less than 48 hours’ notice prior to appointment and No shows = 0% being refunded (Appointment is fully chargeable).
Kinetics Massage has the right to cancel a treatment by giving 24 hours’ notice.
Kinetics Massage has the right to cancel a treatment without notice if the room or environment is unsuitable for the treatment to be provided, or if the therapist is taken ill.
Kinetics Massage has the right to cancel a treatment without notice if the client is intoxicated, inebriated, or ill.
Kinetics Massage commits to rearranging any treatments that the business itself has cancelled to a new time and date within three weeks of the cancelled treatment where possible.
Social Media Content:
Content used on social media, namely Kinetics Massage Therapies Facebook page will be authorised and managed at Kinetics’ discretion, including testimonials.
Photographs will only be displayed with the consent of the people in the photograph.
Photograph consent option is included on your initial consultation form provided by Kinetics Massage. Consent may also be obtained verbally within a treatment.
Unless the client states otherwise, they consent to their email address being saved and are happy to receive notifications on offers and business updates.
Payment:
Kinetics Massage Therapies accepts payment in cash, credit/ debit card or bank transfer.
Booking in person without making payment- Payment should be made using one of the above methods within 24 hours of making a preliminary booking. Any appointment not secured within 24 hours of preliminary booking will automatically open up as available so the client should contact Kinetics Massage to check appointment status and potentially reschedule. Kinetics Massage Therapies is not obliged to send reminders.
Gift Vouchers:
Gift vouchers are valid up until the date stated on the voucher - 6 months from date of purchase. No refunds, exchanges or extensions will be permitted should a voucher expire. The bearer should get in touch as soon as possible using one of the contact methods detailed on the voucher to secure their appointment. Kinetics Massage Therapies will try to provide an appointment to suit the bearer however in the event contact is made close to the expiry date of the voucher then Kinetics Massage cannot guarantee an appointment. Where a treatment is priced at more than the value of the voucher, the bearer is permitted to pay the difference on the day of their appointment. Vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers and cannot be redeemed for the cash value of the voucher. All promotional vouchers (where a date is not printed) will be valid for 30 days clear of the start date - This means all vouchers should be redeemed by the expiry date set out by Kinetics Massage Therapies.

Special Offers:
Standard T's and C's apply. Special offers are valid up until midnight on the date of expiry. One use per customer unless stated otherwise. Gym member discount - one use per customer for Sport and Remedial 60 when booked online. Not applicable to any other massage treatment. Can be redeemed subject to availability and removed from listing without notice.

Privacy:
Client consultations and treatment details will not be discussed with anyone other than the client unless the client is under the age of 18 or has a care worker or guardian
Consultation forms and treatment notes will be kept on file, securely by Kinetics Massage.
All clients must complete a consultation form prior to receiving a treatment.
By signing the consultation form, clients are giving Kinetics Massage permission to hold records and data about them.
Personal information will not be shared with any third parties.
Young persons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
The adult must give permission for the treatment to be performed.
The adult must co-sign the client’s consultation form.
The adult must be present in the room throughout the treatment.
Insurance:
​​Kinetics Massage Therapies is fully insured to carry out treatments with the use of all modalities and techniques offered.
Inappropriate behaviour:
Kinetics Massage has the right to terminate a treatment immediately if the client demonstrates inappropriate or sexual behaviour.
Payment will be collected for the full treatment price, provided more than 10 minutes has been spent with the client.
If the therapist is unable to collect money before leaving, an invoice will be sent to the client’s address. All unpaid invoices will invoke 20% charge being added at the end of every calendar month where the invoice is still outstanding.
